LogJack
LogJack is a free
utility for analyzing webserver logs and keeping live statistics updated on
dynamic web pages. It's primary purpose is to generate data for hit
counters on pages and files on websites, although it also generates reports
on webserver usage. It is available under the terms of the
GNU General Public License.
This is the version 1.00 release. The CHANGES file
documents what's new with this version, most importantly the blocked webserver
bug is fixed, as well as a few minor bugs cleaned up and several new features
added.
logjack.tar.gz: This archive contains the
logjack.pl script (written in perl, of course), sample configuration files,
and miscellaneous documentation (such as the README
file).

Statistics: This page demonstrates some of the reports
that LogJack generates. IMPORTANT NOTE: These statics and reports are being
generated by an alpha test version of LogJack 1.20 -- some of these reports
are not generated or are generated differently on the 1.00 release. The 1.20
release will be available for download in a few days...
LiveWebStats: I wrote
LogJack because LiveWebStats didn't do exactly what I wanted. However, it
may be that LogJack doesn't do what you want and LiveWebStats does.
It's a good program that I swiped ideas from left and right, so check it
out.
